Yatsu-Jomon Weaving Chinami Beppu 八つ縄文織り 別府ちなみさん She hails from Kanagawa Prefecture and her Yatsu-Jomon-Ori weaving master is Yoshichiro Takagi (Ichiki Ito Store @ Kamisuwa). After getting married, she worked at a senior care facility, which led her to pursue studies in psychology and welfare in graduate school. Upon completing her studies, she worked in medical institutions, welfare facilities, and educational settings as a psychologist and social worker. Later, after experiencing a serious illness, she took the time to reflect on herself and confront life. During this period, she encountered weaving in Suwa, a place that changed her life. Fascinated by the infinite possibilities hidden within the patterns of Yatsu-Jomon-Ori weaving, she studied under Yoshichiro Takagi.
